I've always been of the opinion that being afraid of a gun pointed at you is rational, not a phobia, no matter what type of gun it is. I wouldn't be afraid of a gun sitting out on a table, aside from the fear that I would pick it up and accidentally discharge it, but when a SWAT team is pointing it at me, I reserve the right to be terrified, no matter how many bullets it can fire per second, as long as that number is greater than zero.
