On the subject of weird roguelikes, have you tried Spelunky or Shoot First? It's interesting how well the roguelike sensibility can be adapted to other genres.

As for your papers, you've hinted that they pertain in some way to furry... so can I read it once you have a draft? *grins* The theory of furry is of some importance to me.
