I love salad. Seriously. I love to eat them and alsolove making them; sometimes I am able to make the perfect fucking salad and I am so happy.

I make lots of greens-based salads, but I want to speak up for the often-overlooked grain and bean salads. You can either throw a handful of pearled barley/wheatberries/green lentils/etc. on a "normal" green salad, or base one off of the grain or bean from the ground up.
