I don't think it's about transness for me, though it's hard to separate out what is and isn't about any one aspect of identity, I suppose. :) I want people to see me and think --- and forgive me for being corporate scum for a moment --- "she can manage my enterprise software project," not "how pretty!" I'm not worried about looking too feminine for my physical traits unless I am wearing, like, giant flowy gothy dresses, and then who gives a shit, I'm at a goth club. I'm worried about looking too feminine for my mental traits, and that's arguably just as problematic in a more subtle way.
Ugh. That didn't make me feel any better. But I'm glad you think I can rock the blouse. :)
