Bride of Housemate Search

A while ago I posted because we were looking for a housemate (you can read the extended ad for the house written at the time here). The person we found is moving out on September 1st, which I just discovered via email. This is far from thrilling, but she is moving somewhere that will make her very happy, and I am all for people being happy. To make the rest of us in the house happy, we'd really like to find someone for September 1st as well. We've got a few leads, but would appreciate more --- for me, at least, it's just as important to find a good match as it is to find someone by September 1st.

(Why yes, I am 3000 miles away until August 28th. Why yes, that does complicate things. Wheeee! Life is fun.)

Feel free to leave a note here, email me at rachel@akrasiac.org, or pass this along.  If this is no use to you, take some solace in the fact that I have three mostly-written media reviews to post on the other laptop and they should be coming along soon. If I write them on a tiny laptop instead of on paper, it's much easier to actually send them somewhere! Whee, again. Also, tea. *slurp*

Rebecca is looking for housing right now (Although we are looking for a housemate too, and I think she may actually be a better fit at our house since she seems very similar in temperament to Darlene. But I figured I would let you know!).
