The best part is that my analysis (plus gnuchess) suggests that 24. ... Qe2 is either a draw or a very difficult win for me; not at all worth resigning over since he had 25 minutes on the clock and I had 10. I probably would have accepted a draw by perpetual check, which he may have had after 25. Bxb7 Be4+ 26. BxB QxB+. We all make mistakes, though, like me hanging the knight to begin with.
