Are you interested in One Perfect Day: The Selling of the American Wedding by Rebecca Mead, which is all about the wedding industry and its push for ever more expensive and traditionalesque weddings? I liked Kamy Wicoff better, but it was still really interesting and pushed some wedding choices to the forefront to consider. I can lend it to you if you want.
