We had decided that Cassandra would be the one to propose (for various reasons) and I had expected a big fancy give-the-ring-on-bended-knee-in-front-of-a-hundred-people kinda thing, so this took me totally by surprise. I really liked it though, it felt right. Cassandra said that she just wanted to ask, and so she did, and I think that's way more fun than making it a huge obligation.
