Help me make travel plans!

So a big part of the reason for having one of these journals is to keep in touch with people far away, right? Right. So I am thinking about spending a couple of weeks on the West Coast sometime this summer, and I'm looking for good times to do so and people to hang out with and stay with. I may have Cassandra with me, I may not; it's up in the air at this time. Here is my set schedule for the summer (this will also be useful if you are stalking me):
May30-Jun1: Visiting Cassandra's family
Jun20-Jun22: Wedding! (can't really sell my ticket)
Jun30: Ladytron concert in Boston (I suppose I could sell my ticket but want to go to the show)
Jul12: Dropkick Murphys concert in Pawtucket (I suppose I could sell my ticket but want to go to the show)
Jul18-Jul20: Event I am not required to attend but would like to
Aug1-Aug3: Wedding! (can't really sell my ticket)
Aug17: A friend of Cassandra's is in town
As you can see there is no ideal time to do this. I am planning to take two weeks and spend some of the time working remotely; I suppose I could also take one week and fly to one area (one weekend in SF, one in LA, take a train/bus between them at some point during the week), fly home for whatever event I can't miss, and then take another week and do Seattle/Portland/Vancouver/Whatever-else-is-up-there. This is pricier, but (at least if I am travelling alone) price is not necessarily the biggest obstacle.
If anyone else is interested in travelling to the West Coast at similar times, let me know! I'm more likely to spend time working in CA (where all of my friends have jobs and I know the area so don't need to go tourist) than in the Northwest, where I've never actually been, but really I'm planning to just wing it. The government gave me a bunch of money back, I haven't done enough travelling in the last year or two, and I have a lot of friends I never see. I'll be sending email as well, but if you have a schedule suggestion for something I should try to see or a time you will/won't be around, let me know!

It opened in 2000 and I've wanted to see it since the first proposals for it made news in 1993. I haven't been to Seattle since 1983-ish, so this will be my first time seeing the museum.
